Village Hotels Framework
Murray & Willis were appointed to the Village Hotels framework agreement to deliver a myriad of refurbishment and fit-out projects within their existing property portfolio including re-branding a number of hotels.
The works included conference and banqueting facilities, meeting rooms, kitchens, restaurants, leisure facilities, bedrooms and public areas including external landscaping works.
Although the scale and scope of each project has differed, in general we have been involved with stripping out existing facilities, installing new lighting, heating, air conditioning and plumbing. We have been involved with structural and remodelling works and our in-house decorating team have finished each project to Village Hotel’s unique high quality design specification.
At each location where we worked the hotel had to remain fully operational, which required our project teams to deliver each project with the minimum of disruption. We also had to liaise with and manage the client’s own direct suppliers.
All works had to be carried out under tight programme constraints within an operational environment, whilst providing the hotel with constant use of part of the facility. Health & Safety is always paramount and being both CHAS and Safe Contractor accredited we take our CDM obligations extremely seriously making sure our operatives, sub-contractors and the public are kept safe at all times.
Village Hotels’ operate at 26 locations across the UK and offer their customers contemporary style, comfort and excellent facilities. The bedrooms include stylish furniture, free WiFi and flat screen televisions.
Project values ranged from £50,000 to £500,000, and the project duration varied from five to twenty four weeks dependent on the complexity of the individual project.
